从事水利工作30多年，拍摄过许多党和国家领导人视察洪泽湖、洪泽湖大堤的照片。现场就能感受到党和国家对淮安水利的高度重视。
对于摄影，不服从摄影情境，一切顺其自然，简单即容易。让我或你告别平凡的生活。
我是如何接触摄影的：2009年之前，我喜欢写一些诗歌和散文，参加征文比赛。多次在水利部、中国水利报社组织的全国征文比赛中获一、二、三等奖及优秀奖。有一篇论文《洪泽湖，男人的湖》。文章发表前，《中国水利报》编辑打电话给我，希望能配一张洪泽湖风景的照片。如果你需要领导视察的照片，我面前有很多。于是，我向摄影协会的一位老同学求助，要了照片，这些照片立即被《水利报》刊登了。当我看到发表的文章中的图片时，我感觉很糟糕。这不是我的事。再次投稿后，《水利报》又给我打电话，让我再发一张图片来配合文章。我的心理承受能力已经到了极限。我为什么不自己拍风景呢？
从那天起，我买了自己的单反相机。开始探索摄影创作。从那天起，我不再参加征文比赛，开始追寻业余摄影的道路。没想到，摄影比写文章难一百千倍。
以前我用笔写水，现在我用镜头捕捉水。
