【句式】省略句

【解析】运用了省略句和who引导定语从句。在时间、条件、让步和方式状语从句中，若从句主语和主句主语一致，并且从句中含有be动词，可省略从句中的主语和be动词，故if paired中省略they are句意：此外，如果与他们无法相处或难以交流的人配对，学生可能会感到不舒服或不那么积极。
